Thorn Baker Construction are seeking experienced painters for a Derby project. This 6-week assignment starts in September and offers steady on-site work for reliable candidates.

Your role will include general painting and decorating, surface preparation, emulsions on walls and ceilings, woodwork painting and thorough prep for a high-quality finish. You’ll work with other trades and follow on-site safety rules.

Qualifications

• Previous construction painting experience.
• CSCS card required.
• Full PPE required.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• General painting and decorating duties.
• Preparing surfaces ready for painting.
• Emulsioning walls and ceilings.
• Painting woodwork and other surfaces.
• Applying paint to a high standard.
• Working alongside other trades on site.
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy.
• Following site health & safety procedures.
