Job summary

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Picker / Packer for a busy food distribution operation in Mansfield. This role involves picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Recent hands-on picking and packing experience is essential. This is not an entry-level position. Monday to Friday, £12.85 per hour, weekly pay, with the potential to secure a permanent contract after a temporary period.

Duties

Picking orders using manual paper pick sheets

Packing food and drink products using a tape gun

Handling products weighing up to 20kg

Meeting daily productivity targets and maintaining a tidy workspace

Recent warehouse picking and packing experience

Experience reading manual pick sheets and using a tape gun

Ability to work quickly without compromising accuracy

Good physical fitness for lifting and standing throughout the shift

Reliable attendance, good timekeeping and a consistent work history

Important: Applications from candidates without recent, relevant picking and packing experience, including manual pick sheets and tape gun use, will not be considered.
