A family-owned furniture company in Ruislip is seeking a skilled Joiner/Carpenter. The role involves managing the construction of bespoke furniture pieces and requires at least 2 years of joinery experience. You will work primarily in the workshop, but occasional on-site work may be required. Strong attention to detail and good communication skills are essential. This position offers a collaborative and supportive environment.
Founded by two brothers, FLEGG remains a family business. We design, create, manufacture, and install truly bespoke items of furniture. The quality of our product, the craftsmanship, and the attention to detail of installation are all matched with outstanding customer service.
FLEGG is a very proactive team—getting it right is our priority, and having fun in a safe environment at work comes a close second. We invest in our team with product training and skills transfer. You will manage the construction of a piece of furniture from start to finish, allowing you to take pride in your work. On larger pieces, you will be supported by, or will be supporting colleagues; but every day is a new challenge.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Joiner/Carpenter. Primarily this will be “bench‑based”; but there may be occasions when you are needed on‑site – these times are few and far between. You’ll be working with our established Team and be made very welcome. The role would suit someone with joinery/carpentry experience, ideally in a workshop, but if you have the right skills we would love to talk with you.
At FLEGG we fully support Equality in Employment. All employment is decided based on qualifications, merit, and business need.
