Job description

Founded by two brothers, FLEGG remains a family business. We design, create, manufacture, and install truly bespoke items of furniture. The quality of our product, the craftsmanship, and the attention to detail of installation are all matched with outstanding customer service.

FLEGG is a very proactive team—getting it right is our priority, and having fun in a safe environment at work comes a close second. We invest in our team with product training and skills transfer. You will manage the construction of a piece of furniture from start to finish, allowing you to take pride in your work. On larger pieces, you will be supported by, or will be supporting colleagues; but every day is a new challenge.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Joiner/Carpenter. Primarily this will be “bench‑based”; but there may be occasions when you are needed on‑site – these times are few and far between. You’ll be working with our established Team and be made very welcome. The role would suit someone with joinery/carpentry experience, ideally in a workshop, but if you have the right skills we would love to talk with you.

Requirements
  • Experience in joinery or carpentry (minimum 2 years) – ideally, with a portfolio of previous work
  • Good to have experience in working with high‑end joinery
  • Proficient in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
  • Ability to read and interpret production sheets, technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members

At FLEGG we fully support Equality in Employment. All employment is decided based on qualifications, merit, and business need.
