Job summary

Butterfield & Vallis is seeking an energetic Heavy Goods Vehicle driver to support daily deliveries and loading tasks in the Devon region. You will verify invoices, load goods, and ensure timely departures on assigned routes, while upholding company standards and customer service.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, self-motivated, with a clean truck license and good communication skills. Weekend work and overtime may be required to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Clean and valid heavy truck license required.
• Self-starter with good work ethic.
• Physically fit and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work Saturdays and overtime on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Obtain customer signatures on invoices and return paperwork to the office.
• Complete weekly vehicle maintenance forms and report any delays or incidents.
• Assist in loading products onto the truck and deliver to assigned routes on schedule.
• Maintain professional appearance and provide courteous service to customers.
