What are we looking for?
Design & Creative Expertise
- Strong visual design skills across typography, layout, colour, and composition
- Ability to create clear, impactful designs for both print and digital formats
- Expertise in packaging and label design, including small‑format, high‑legibility layouts
- Ability to conceptualise and develop brand identity systems
- Strong illustration or iconography skills
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Experience producing print‑ready artwork and understanding of print production processes
- Knowledge of colour models (CMYK/RGB), dielines, bleeds, and file optimisation
- Ability to create digital assets for social media, web, and mobile platforms
- Familiarity with brand guideline development
Communication & Collaboration
- Ability to interpret briefs and translate strategic objectives into design solutions
- Strong communication skills to explain design decisions clearly
- Openness to feedback and iterative design processes
- Ability to work with non‑design teams (marketing, programme, field teams)
Project & Workflow Skills
- Strong time management and deadline discipline
- Ability to manage multiple design assets or sub‑projects in parallel
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed
Relevant Experience
- 3–7+ years of professional design experience (or strong equivalent portfolio)
- Previous experience working with brands in FMCG, household products, social impact, or retail
- Proven portfolio of packaging, label, or product design projects
- Experience designing for diverse or rural consumer audiences (a plus)
- Experience adapting designs for multiple languages or regional contexts
- Familiarity with sustainability‑focused or social impact organisations (a bonus)

What will you be doing?
As an experienced Graphic Designer, you will play a central role in shaping the visual identity and communication materials for our organisation. You will translate concepts into compelling, high‑quality designs that work across digital and print formats, ensuring clarity, consistency, and strong brand alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop visual concepts and final artwork for campaigns, packaging, social media, and promotional materials.
- Create design systems, templates, and brand assets that can be used consistently across multiple touchpoints.
- Adapt design ideas into production‑ready files for print (including packaging, labels, and signage) and digital use.
- Collaborate with the communications and programme teams to understand objectives and translate them into effective visual solutions.
- Ensure all creative outputs maintain brand coherence and meet quality standards, while also being suitable for local cultural contexts.
- Work within project timelines, prioritising tasks and managing feedback efficiently.
Deliverables May Include
- Final label and packaging designs suitable for print production

About Our Organisation / Team Structure
You will work closely with a small, collaborative team that includes programme leads, communications specialists, and field partners. Decision‑making is fast, and the designer plays an influential role in shaping how our work is represented publicly. While you will receive clear briefs and strategic direction, you will have creative autonomy to propose ideas and guide the visual approach.
