Job summary

NU Creative | Certified B-Corp is seeking an experienced graphic designer for a nine-month maternity cover contract in our Canary Wharf studio, London. This full-time role (35 hours per week) follows a hybrid pattern with two days per week in our Canary Wharf studio and remaining days remote, serving B2B clients across brand, digital, campaigns, bids and tenders.

We require five years or more in a design agency, a strong typography and layout portfolio, and expert skills in InDesign,

Qualifications

• Five+ years' professional design experience in a creative agency.
• Strong portfolio showing typography, layout and B2B work.
• Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience with After Effects and Figma; PowerPoint/Word.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to explain design choices.
• Webflow experience would be a significant advantage.

We're looking for an experienced graphic designer to join our team at NU Creative on a nine-month maternity cover contract. We're an independent creative agency working with a wide range of B2B businesses, professional services organisations and charities across brand, digital, campaigns, bids and tenders. Our projects are varied, our clients are interesting and we take pride in producing work that's both creative and carefully considered. We need someone who brings strong design skills, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to take a project from brief through to finished artwork. You'll be joining a small, collaborative team where everyone contributes ideas, supports each other and takes responsibility for delivering great work.

• Finding practical, creative solutions to design challenges and communicating your thinking clearly.

• At least five years' professional design experience within a creative or design agency, gained after completing your education. Student projects, internships and placements do not count towards this requirement.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent typography, layout, creative thinking and attention to detail, with examples of work produced for B2B businesses, professional services organisations or charities.
• Experience working with B2B and corporate clients, with an understanding of how to communicate complex information clearly and creatively.
• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, with experience using After Effects.
• Strong experience using Figma.
• Confidence designing and working within Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience designing bids, tenders, proposals or similarly complex, content heavy documents.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy when working at speed and under pressure.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to find practical solutions.
• Confidence speaking directly with clients, taking briefs and asking the questions needed to get a project right.
• Excellent time management and the ability to handle several projects and deadlines at once.
• A collaborative approach, alongside the confidence to work independently and take ownership of your work.
