Job summary

MDE Installations in Omagh, Northern Ireland, is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. You will manage the estimating process from enquiry to tender submission, working with Contracts Managers, Procurement, and senior stakeholders to deliver competitive, compliant bids.

The role requires a qualified electrician or electrical engineer, proven estimator experience, and proficiency with Trimble, AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician, Electrical Engineer, or equivalent electrical qualification.
• Proven experience in an Electrical Estimator role.
• Experience using Trimble estimating and costing systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Manage estimating activities from enquiry to tender submission.
• Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates and tender submissions.
• Review project specifications, drawings and tender documentation.
• Collaborate with Contracts Managers and Procurement teams to plan and bid.
• Produce quantity take-offs and cost analyses using estimating software.
• Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors and negotiate terms.
