Job description

Role Overview

The community staff nurse is a member of the Integrated Health Team, who undertakes professional duties in the client's homes and clinics to ensure provision of high standard nursing care and health promotion. To work across professional boundaries, providing comprehensive health care that is sensitive to the needs of the local population.

Responsibilities

Providing high standard evidence‑based care to housebound patients within their own homes and to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions.

Working across the Rural North area seven days a week with flexible working as required.

Qualifications

• Band 5 Experienced Registered Nurse.
• General knowledge of current best practice in Community Nursing.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Rural North area.
