Job summary

Regional Recruitment is seeking experienced Carpenters for a major commercial-to-residential conversion project in Leicester. Immediate start on a temporary, full-time basis with ongoing work and opportunities for future projects.

You will carry out first and second fix carpentry, install temporary works, and support refurbishment activities in a busy construction environment. Own tools and a valid CSCS card are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications: CSCS Card, own tools, proven commercial carpentry experience, refurbishment project background.
• Desirable qualifications: NVQ Level 2/3 Carpentry & Joinery, PASMA, IPAF, First Aid at Work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first and second fix carpentry as required.
• Install temporary works.
• Complete making good works.
• Assist with refurbishment activities.
• Read and work from drawings where required.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements.
• Work independently and within the wider site team.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping.
• Undertake any additional carpentry duties as instructed.
