Job summary

First Bus in York is seeking an experienced bus driver to join our depot. You will operate buses on a strict rota, delivering safe, reliable journeys and excellent customer service to our passengers.

A full UK driving licence with up to six points is required, plus flexibility for early starts and late finishes. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to progress within a well-established transport organisation.

Qualifications

• Proof of right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Excellent people skills and customer-focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work a shift/rota pattern, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses to transport customers safely and punctually.
• Adhere to route schedules and safety regulations.
• Provide good customer service and assist passengers as needed.
• Work on a rota that includes early starts and late finishes.

Hours:37 hours per week
Working Pattern:5 days per week, Sunday to Saturday
Shifts:Hours allocated in advance on a shift/rota basis
