Job summary

First Bus in Colchester is seeking an Experienced Bus Driver with a PCV licence to join our Colchester Depot. This role is 38 hours per week across a 5-day rota (Mon–Sun) with shifts scheduled in advance.

You will provide safe, reliable passenger transport, deliver excellent customer service, and comply with all licensing and safety requirements. Right to work in the UK is required and background checks will be carried out during recruitment.

Qualifications

• Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
• Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• PCV Licence required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work on a rota/shift basis (shifts may include early mornings and late nights/weekends).

Responsibilities

• Drive First Bus vehicles to transport passengers safely.
• Provide courteous customer service and assist passengers as needed.
• Adhere to traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
