A small, friendly architecture practice with studios in Harrogate and York is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their growing team. The practice has a strong reputation for being very end user focussed, delivering thoughtful and well-crafted designs across a varied project portfolio, typically 60% residential and 40% commercial.

The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Technologist to work on projects from concept through to completion, playing a key role in both the design development and technical delivery stages. You'll be involved across all RIBA stages, working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to bring projects to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on a wide range of residential and commercial schemes from early concept through to technical delivery and site stages
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction packages
• Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and local authorities
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and planning requirements
• Support the wider team in design development and coordination
• Contribute to a collaborative studio environment, sharing knowledge and ideas

About You:

• Architectural Technology degree with 3-4 years' post-degree experience
• Strong technical knowledge and a good understanding of UK Building Regulations
• Confident working independently and as part of a team across multiple project stages
• Experience within small to medium practices is beneficial
• ArchiCAD experience is desirable (training can be provided)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, detail-focused, and client-oriented
