Job summary

Goodman Masson is partnering with a growing technology and digital consultancy to recruit a hands-on Finance Assistant focused on supplier payments and basic cash reporting. You’ll manage invoices from receipt to payment, code transactions and support monthly close.

You’ll work with NetSuite or a similar cloud ERP, maintain supplier data, process expenses, raise customer invoices and assist with reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with a cloud-based ERP or accounting system (NetSuite or similar).
• Solid bookkeeping fundamentals including VAT.
• Experience following up outstanding debt and supporting cash reporting.
• Methodical, proactive approach and strong eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Own the flow of supplier invoices from receipt to payment, including coding, approvals and scheduled payment runs.
• Set up and maintain supplier information in the finance system.
• Process employee expense claims and review company card spend.
• Raise customer invoices, chase overdue balances and handle billing queries.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and carry out routine ledger checks.
• Contribute to the monthly and annual close cycle.

Our client is a growing technology and digital consultancy that helps public sector, charity and commercial organisations modernise how they work. This is a hands‑on position centred on the day‑to‑day processing of supplier payments, with some exposure to sales‑side finance. You will report into a senior member of the finance team and help keep the department accurate, timely and well organised.

What You'll Be Doing

• Owning the flow of supplier invoices from receipt through to payment, including coding, approvals and scheduled payment runs
• Setting up and maintaining supplier information in the finance system
• Processing employee expense claims and reviewing company card spend
• Raising customer invoices, chasing overdue balances and dealing with billing queries
• Preparing bank reconciliations and carrying out routine ledger checks
• Contributing to the monthly and annual close cycle

What We're Looking For

• MUST HAVE Hands‑on experience with a cloud-based ERP or accounting system (NetSuite or similar)A good working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals, including VAT
• Experience following up outstanding debt, investigating discrepancies and supporting basic cash reporting
• A methodical, proactive approach and a good eye for detail
