WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a driven Sales Executive to join our North American Portfolio team. In this role, you will manage day‑to‑day sales activity, oversee your personal pipeline, and ensure all administration is completed efficiently. You will be responsible for delivering your personal sales targets and executing the sales and campaign strategy set out by the Head of TGE.

You will play a key part in delivering events over target, including exhibitor numbers, exhibitor mix, stand sales, sponsorship inventory, yield, and sponsorship revenue. The role also includes creating detailed proposals, recording sales accurately, identifying key new business prospects, being prepared for power hours, and undertaking additional duties as required.

THE ROLE:
  • Manage day‑to‑day personal sales, pipelines, and administration.
  • Deliver personal sales targets across the event.
  • Execute the campaign strategy set out by the Head of TGE to deliver the show over target (exhibitor numbers, exhibitor mix, stand sales, sponsorship inventory, yield, sponsorship revenues).
  • Create detailed written proposals and send them to clients in a timely manner.
  • Record personal sales in line with company sales processes.
  • Identify key new business clients and sales targets within the prospect universe.
  • Be prepared for power hours with well‑researched targeted prospects.
  • Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested.
ABOUT YOU:
  • Confidently sell exhibition stands and sponsorship across the North American Portfolio
  • Follow sales strategies set by the Head of TGE to ensure sales targets are met
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to hit and exceed show targets
  • Maintain high standards of sales performance and exceed personal sales goals
  • Support the smooth running of the event when required
  • Visit competitor and industry events, developing a strong understanding of the market
  • Build and develop relationships with new clients
  • Arrange and attend meetings with new and potential customers
  • Respond efficiently to incoming enquiries
  • Gather relevant market and customer information
  • Listen to customer needs and present solutions effectively
  • Challenge objections to secure sales
  • Attend team meetings and share best practices
  • Monitor market and competitor activity
  • Stay informed by reading relevant industry publications
