Job summary

ACCA Careers in Exeter is recruiting a Tax Senior Manager/Director Designate to lead on compliance, accounts and tax planning for a broad client portfolio. The role offers a clear progression path within a growing chartered accountancy practice.

You will manage and mentor the tax team, review work, and provide advisory support on complex planning projects. Significant property tax experience would be advantageous as the firm expands in this area.

Qualifications

• Qualified in CTA/ATT/ACA/ACCA or equivalent with a career background in accounting/tax and substantial advisory and planning experience.
• Ideally you have property tax experience or a strong interest in that sector.
• Experience in an accountancy practice environment and in a managerial/senior managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Lead on compliance and accounts/tax planning for a diverse client base and deliver complex advisory projects.
• Manage, lead and mentor the wider tax team, reviewing work and supporting development.
• Drive growth in the property sector division and advise on related project work.
