Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant school community in Exeter, Devon. This role offers an excellent work-life balance with fixed hours of 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and no weekend or evening work. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children in educational settings and possess a patient personality.

You will assist classroom teachers in daily activities and help create a positive, safe environment for young learners. This is a rewarding opportunity with competitive pay of up to £95.00 per day.

Qualifications

• Experience in schools, nurseries, or youth clubs is crucial.
• A patient, resilient, and encouraging personality is essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with daily lesson setups.
• Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils.
• Create a positive and engaging environment for learners.
• Manage classroom behavior and support children during break times.
