Responsibilities

As an Executive Support Assistant at Gloucestershire County Council you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive administrative support to Senior Leaders and their teams. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing documents and handling correspondence. Your keen attention to detail and organisational skills will ensure that all administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands will be essential in meeting deadlines and addressing urgent requests effectively. Moreover your role will require you to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost care and integrity. As part of the Executive Support team you will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the overall success of Gloucestershire County Council. Your role will be dynamic and fast‑paced offering opportunities for growth and development.

About You

Successful candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills; be organised and efficient as well as being diplomatic; able to deal with sensitive and confidential matters with the utmost trust. Communicating effectively and proactively managing a diverse and varied workload you will need to meet tight internal and external deadlines whilst juggling priorities in a flexible and adaptable way.

You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all issues involving Senior Managers in order to provide comprehensive proactive integrated support to efficiently manage the Managers' expectations and requirements.

Additional Information

The council is not currently able to offer sponsorship in this role. Candidates will need to have right to work that enables them to commit to at least 6 months employment. Right to work is not transferable from a sponsored role held with another employer.
