Chief Programme Officer – Hybrid
Salary: £100,000 – £120,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Hybrid (Banbury, London, Cardiff, or Belfast – you will be contractually based in the office nearest to you with hybrid working)
Hybrid working: You will be able to work from home and come into the office to collaborate with your team(s) when required. Flexible core hours are provided and we do not believe in a culture of presenteeism.
Salary & Benefits: £100,000 – £120,000 dependent on experience; 10% pension; 25 days annual leave + bank holidays; 37.5 hour working week; up to 13 flexi-days; private medical insurance, life assurance, and more.

As Chief Programme Officer, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and delivering WRAP's global programme portfolio. Sitting on the Executive Team and reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide strategic direction across all programme areas and geographies – from resource management and circular economy initiatives to food system transformation, packaging, and textiles. You will lead the team to deliver impact, delight partners and funders, and ensure our programmes are rooted in a deep understanding of commercial, economic and social drivers, as well as the best environmental evidence. A key focus of the role is managing WRAP's dual delivery model, ensuring the quality, consistency, and impact of both direct delivery work and programmes delivered through strategic partners. This highly influential role offers the opportunity to shape long‑term strategy, strengthen international programmes, and drive real, measurable environmental and societal outcomes at scale.
