Job summary

Pembrokeshire County Council is seeking an exceptional leader to become Deputy Chief Executive & Director of Place, directing a broad portfolio including economic development, regeneration, planning, transport, property, environmental services and major capital programmes.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will shape the Council’s strategic direction, build partnerships with government, investors and communities, and drive delivery of long-term prosperity across Pembrokeshire.

• Lead economic development, regeneration, planning, transport, property, environmental services, climate change, energy and major capital programmes.
• Shape the Council’s strategic direction and drive delivery through complex programmes.
• Build trusted relationships with senior political leaders, government partners, investors, business leaders and communities.
