Job summary

EC Property Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a strategic Affordable Housing specialist to establish and grow a dedicated cost management capability within a national consultancy. You will work with senior leadership to shape the sector offer, build client relationships and guide the growth of the team.

The role emphasizes ownership of the Affordable Housing space, development of frameworks, and collaboration with delivery teams across the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong consultancy Quantity Surveying/Cost Management experience.
• Good experience delivering Affordable Housing or Social Housing projects.
• Established relationships within the housing sector.
• Experience with housing associations, registered providers, local authorities or developers.
• Understanding of Affordable Housing procurement routes and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Affordable Housing cost consultancy strategy.
• Build relationships with housing associations, RP’s and authorities.
• Lead bids, tenders and proposals for opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for QS, cost management and project management services.
• Recruit and develop an Affordable Housing team as workload grows.
