Job summary

Community Academies Trust in the Midlands seeks a Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Finance and Operations) to steer finance, HR, operations, estates, IT, data protection, health and safety, compliance and risk at Trust level. You’ll work closely with the CEO to shape strategy and ensure robust governance and service delivery across 17 schools.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with substantial senior leadership experience in multi-site education or public sector

Qualifications

• Has substantial senior leadership experience in finance and operations, ideally within a complex education, public sector or multi-site organisation.
• Strong technical expertise as a qualified accountant with governance and risk management experience.
• Ability to lead people, resources and organisational change with sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Trust's finance, HR, operations, estates, IT, data protection, health and safety, compliance and risk.
• Provide strategic leadership and governance assurance to support the CEO and the Trust.
• Support long-term financial planning and statutory reporting across 17 schools.
