Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Systematic Portfolio Manager in London to oversee passive and active systematic fixed income strategies and help roll out an active ETF platform.

You will drive portfolio optimization integration and collaborate with the GFICC business and quantitative teams. The role requires a strong foundation in fixed income, portfolio construction, and data analysis, with proficiency in Excel and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related scientific discipline.
• Strong knowledge of public fixed income markets, including credit, interest rates, or structured finance.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong technical, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates drive, determination, and a results-oriented work ethic, thriving in a team-based, collaborative environment with excellent communication and relationship skills.
• Strong data and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and Python.

Responsibilities

• Manage passive and active Systematic Fixed Income strategies, focusing on portfolio management and developing new strategies.
• Collaborate with the Quantitative Research team to refine portfolio construction techniques.
• Integrate and improve the portfolio optimization framework with the tech team.
• Monitor client portfolios to ensure alignment with investment strategies and guidelines.
• Work with sector specialists to integrate their expertise into systematic portfolios.
• Engage with clients on bespoke research for systematic investment solutions and communicate performance.
• Coordinate with distribution and product development to articulate key investment capabilities and design tailored solutions.
