Hull and East Yorkshire Combined Authority seeks an exceptional Executive Director of Finance to lead the Authority’s financial strategy and governance, reporting to the CEO/Head of Paid Service. This pivotal role combines financial stewardship with strategic, commercial and digital ambitions to unlock investment and deliver public value across the region.

Qualifications

Qualified CCAB professional accountant with public sector background.
Strong track record in strategic financial leadership and governance.
Experience managing large commercial contracts and grant-funded programmes.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic financial leadership as part of HEYCA's Strategic Leadership Team.
Fulfil the Section 73 Officer responsibilities and ensure financial governance and regulatory compliance.
Develop and deliver medium- and long-term financial strategies to support sustainable investment and growth.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, treasury management and investment oversight.
