Overview

Scottish Ensemble is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking, and enterprising Executive Director on a one-year fixed-term contract to cover the current Executive Director’s upcoming maternity leave.

Role and responsibilities

• The Executive Director is a central leadership role, responsible for ensuring the organisation operates smoothly, transparently, and in line with its mission and values. Working closely with, and deputising for, the Chief Executive, the Executive Director provides oversight of administration, finance, HR, and governance, while contributing to the organisation’s overall strategy, culture, and long-term sustainability.
