Job summary

West Northants Council seeks a Corporate Director of Integrated Commissioning to steer a broad portfolio across Adult Social Care, Public Health, Education and Housing. You will lead a large team, drive evidence-led commissioning and work with health partners to deliver high-quality services.

The role reports to the Executive Director for Adults & Wellbeing, overseeing significant budgets and complex contracts, with a focus on sustainability and value for money.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large, complex service portfolios in a challenging financial environment.
• Strong track record of delivering change, managing substantial budgets and leading large teams.
• Educated to degree level in a relevant subject with a Level 7 qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead across Adult Social Care, Public Health, Children's and Education and Housing Commissioning.
• Create an inclusive, high-performing culture where colleagues can grow and deliver improvements.
• Provide professional advice to elected members and manage resources responsibly.
• Oversee contracts, performance, governance and risk across a complex provider market.
