You will oversee a kitchen team of ~25 and deliver around 4,000 meals per day across two sites, balancing culinary excellence with strong financial and people-management skills. The role requires hands-on leadership, exceptional food quality, and a proven track record in high-end banqueting and client relations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in large-scale operations.
• Experience managing multiple kitchens and high-volume food production.
• Strong financial, commercial and budget-management skills.
• Experience delivering ~4,000 meals per day or similar high-volume catering operations.
• Extensive high-end banqueting experience is essential.
• Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
• Level 3 Food Safety qualification is preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a kitchen and catering team of approximately 25 employees.
• Oversee a high-volume operation producing around 4,000 meals per day.
• Deliver exceptional fresh, seasonal food across multiple kitchens and sites.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
• Take responsibility for high-end banqueting, functions, buffets and events.
• Develop and implement onsite marketing initiatives with at least two promotions each month.
• Manage labour, rotas, payroll and overtime to control costs.
• Prepare end-of-month accounts and reports with the Operations Manager.
