A progressive educational institution in Oxford is seeking a proactive Executive Assistant to support the Bursar in a busy environment. The successful candidate will manage communications, organize meetings, and ensure efficient operation of the Bursary office. Excellent organizational skills are essential. This full-time role requires a commitment to maintaining the smooth running of administrative functions and facilitating various College projects.
Mansfield College seeks to appoint a proactive and efficient Executive Assistant to support the Bursar of the College. This role is at the very heart of a small, progressive College community in a busy, fast-paced environment.
This is a particularly exciting time for Mansfield and our Bursary team as we embark on an ambitious College Transformation Project. The main focus of this project is a significant re-development of our existing site spanning four years with our Bursar being a driving force behind the project’s success.
Having excellent organisation skills and possessing the ability to work well under pressure, you will be working closely with the Bursar, managing their busy diary, actively managing their communications across the College and with external parties. Maintaining the smooth and efficient running the Bursary office, minuting and following up meetings convened by the Bursar.
The role is full-time at 36.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. You may be required to work some reasonable additional hours from time to time in order to fulfil the requirements of your role and the needs of the College.
Provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support to the Bursar in all aspects of their work to facilitate the smooth and effective performance of the Bursar’s role.
