Job description
About Aspora

People on the move deserve a bank that moves with them. Since 2022, Aspora has been building a borderless financial operating system that makes money as mobile and transparent as its users.

Backed by influential venture capitalists like Sequoia Capital, Greylock Partners, Hummingbird Ventures, Y Combinator & Global Founders Capital. We're a team of 75+ across India, the UK, the UAE, EU and the US, working with extreme ownership, radical candour, and an obsession with customer impact.

We celebrate builders who question assumptions, ship fast, and turn regulatory complexity into elegant solutions. If you’re driven to redefine what global banking can be, we’d love to build the future with you.

About the role

This is the first EA hire at Aspora and it’s foundational. You’ll act as a critical support system to the CEO and senior leadership, ensuring they operate with clarity, focus, and speed. You will also be responsible for the management of our office, Aspora’s vibrant London home in Shoreditch!

You’ll bring structure to fast-moving priorities and handle sensitive workflows with discretion and care. You’ll be the trusted glue between leadership and execution. It’s a high-trust, high-impact role at the heart of the business.

What you’ll own

  • Full CEO diary and email management
  • Maintain structured follow-up systems across action items, finance deadlines and executive workflows.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for every visitor - interviewees, board members, regulators, partners - delivering a warm, professional welcome
  • Keep office entrance, phone lines, mail and courier flows running smoothly and the entrance immaculate at all times
  • Coordinate onsite meetings end-to-end, book rooms, arrange catering and solve last-minute hiccups without drama
  • Build relationships with building management, cleaning, security and other vendors to ensure a well-maintained, hassle-free workplace.
  • Monitor and replenish office supplies so meeting rooms, common areas and pantries are always stocked and organised
Who you are
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Personal Assistant within a dynamic environment, bonus points for experience within a startup
  • Exceptional organisational rigor, superb attention to detail, and high personal integrity
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to orchestrate complex calendars, workflows, and deliverables in fast-moving contexts
  • Outstanding communicator who is calm, clear and concise
  • Experience liaising with multi-disciplinary stakeholders (finance, legal, compliance, ops) across time zones. Resourceful, proactive, and able to turn “undefined ask” into structured outcomes.
  • Trustworthy, discreet and committed to upholding Aspora’s core values.

Why Aspora?

  • Operate in a front-row seat to senior leadership at a scale-stage fintech
  • A high-autonomy role with trust and responsibility
  • Highly collaborative culture grounded in clarity, velocity, and ownership.
  • Competitive compensation and equity package.
  • Full health insurance coverage
  • Office-based London HQ (Shoreditch) with flexibility to support live board/investor events.
