Job Description
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Diary management for the CEO of JD’s Outdoors Estate.
- General administration duties for the CEO – typing, filing, etc.
- Manage all UK and international travel arrangements as required.
- Maintain holiday requests and absences records.
- Monitor all cost centre charges, ensuring accuracy and proper allocation.
- Book meetings internally and externally.
- Organise new employee stationery and equipment, including laptops and phones.
- Ensure staff expenses are recorded and submitted promptly.
- Order and handle foreign currency for overseas travel.
- Manage DHL orders and distribute accordingly.
- Serve as the main contact for IT and maintenance issues.
- Distribute invoices to the accounts department accurately.
- Handle email and phone queries from customers and suppliers.
- Provide cover for other PAs when necessary.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Experience working with Directors/Senior Management is beneficial but not essential.
- Willingness to develop internal and external working relationships.
