Job Description

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Diary management for the CEO of JD’s Outdoors Estate.
  • General administration duties for the CEO – typing, filing, etc.
  • Manage all UK and international travel arrangements as required.
  • Maintain holiday requests and absences records.
  • Monitor all cost centre charges, ensuring accuracy and proper allocation.
  • Book meetings internally and externally.
  • Organise new employee stationery and equipment, including laptops and phones.
  • Ensure staff expenses are recorded and submitted promptly.
  • Order and handle foreign currency for overseas travel.
  • Manage DHL orders and distribute accordingly.
  • Serve as the main contact for IT and maintenance issues.
  • Distribute invoices to the accounts department accurately.
  • Handle email and phone queries from customers and suppliers.
  • Provide cover for other PAs when necessary.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Experience working with Directors/Senior Management is beneficial but not essential.
  • Willingness to develop internal and external working relationships.
