Executive Assistant (PT, Hybrid, 6 month contract)

Contract Type: Initial 6 month contract with potential to become permanent. Location: Edinburgh City Centre. Salary: £40,000 pro rata. Working Pattern: 3‑4 days per week, 1 day working from home.

Are you a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant looking for a part‑time opportunity with flexibility and impact? We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dynamic EA to support senior leadership in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and attend senior‑level meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
  • Manage internal communications and scheduling, including company‑wide events.
  • Oversee complex diary and travel arrangements for senior leaders.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support project tracking and deadline management.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for executive decision‑making.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks aligned with strategic business goals.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role supporting senior leadership.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Strong diary management and scheduling capabilities.
  • High level written communication and attention to detail.
  • Confident interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise across all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proactive problem‑solving mindset.
