The Role

The Executive Assistant & Office Manager will provide high-level organisational, administrative, and strategic support to the Chief Executive. This is a pivotal role ensuring the smooth running of the Executive Office, acting as a trusted partner and key point of coordination across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive executive support to the Chief Executive, including diary management, correspondence, briefings, and meeting preparation.
  • Manage inboxes, communications, and workflow priorities on behalf of the Chief Executive.
  • Coordinate board meetings, produce agendas, take minutes, and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
  • Act as a liaison between the Chief Executive and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring efficiency and adherence to organisational processes.
  • Manage travel, events, and logistical arrangements for the Chief Executive.
  • Support key projects, organisational initiatives, and confidential assignments as required.
  • Implement and maintain effective administrative systems and office procedures.
  • Provide leadership and support to administrative staff where necessary.
The Person
Essential Criteria
  • Significant experience in an Executive Assistant, Senior PA, or Office Management role supporting a senior leader.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and digital workplace tools.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and exercise sound judgement.
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience supporting an executive within a public sector, regulatory, or similarly complex environment.
  • Project coordination or project management experience.
  • Knowledge of governance and board-level administration.
