Reporting to Harry Atkinson, Founder
We're looking for an organised, proactive and highly capable Executive Assistant & Office Manager to work closely with our Founder, Harry, and help bring calm and structure to a busy, fast‑moving environment.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who naturally stays one step ahead. You'll work side‑by‑side with Harry, helping him manage his time, priorities, communications and commitments, while making sure the practical details around him are taken care of.
You’ll also help keep our London office running smoothly. Harry will be your priority, but where capacity allows, you’ll provide practical and administrative support across the wider Sensat team.
This isn't a role where everything will always be mapped out for you. Priorities will change, diaries will move and things will occasionally appear from nowhere. You'll be someone who can calmly work out what matters, create order and keep things moving.
You’ll also be comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy. The goal isn't simply to organise Harry's workload, but to understand what genuinely needs his attention, what can be handled by you and where you can remove unnecessary noise altogether.
You're exceptionally organised and enjoy creating order in a fast‑moving environment. You're proactive, naturally think a few steps ahead and don't need to wait to be told what to do next.
You're confident managing upwards, protecting someone's time and challenging priorities when needed. You're comfortable holding your ground, asking the right questions and constructively pushing back, while still being personable, warm and able to build strong relationships.
You're calm under pressure and don't get flustered when plans change. You have strong judgement and can quickly work out what needs attention now, what can wait and what doesn't need Harry at all.
You take ownership, solve problems and enjoy being part of a small, ambitious team where everyone gets stuck in.
You enjoy working with autonomy and don't need everything mapped out for you. Priorities will move, plans will change and sometimes you'll need to make a judgement call and keep things moving.
You'll be working closely alongside Harry, so you'll need to be comfortable building a strong working relationship with a busy Founder while having the confidence to manage upwards, challenge when needed and protect his time.
This is a part‑time role working 24 hours per week, with Tuesday–Thursday as our core office days.
There is flexibility around how your 24 hours are structured. You might prefer shorter days across the week or a different working pattern around the core office days, and we're open to discussing what works. What matters is having consistent in‑person presence Tuesday–Thursday and being able to work effectively alongside Harry and the wider team.
From time to time, there may be something that needs dealing with outside your usual working hours. We're looking for someone who can bring some flexibility when genuinely needed, balanced with the flexibility we'll offer around how your working week is structured.
We’re building technology that helps infrastructure organisations make smarter decisions across some of the world’s most important projects.
We’ve proven where we create real value. Now, we’re focused on turning that success into a repeatable enterprise growth engine across the UK and US.
This role sits right at the heart of how Sensat operates. You'll work directly alongside our Founder while building relationships across the wider business and with the customers, partners and stakeholders we work with.
You'll have the autonomy to make a real difference to how Harry and the wider team operate day‑to‑day, creating more structure, removing unnecessary noise and making sure the things that matter keep moving.
