Are you an experienced Executive Assistant with exposure to both Property and Litigation, looking for a varied and engaging float role within a highly respected West End law firm?

The Role

This highly regarded London law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Float Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and organisational support across its Property and Litigation teams.

This is a varied, fast-paced role suited to an adaptable EA who enjoys supporting different fee earners, managing competing priorities and stepping in where support is needed most. You will play a key role in ensuring matters run smoothly, providing consistent, high-quality assistance across the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, organise and electronically file court forms and legal documents, including use of CE-File
  • Manage diaries, schedule court hearings, meetings and appointments, and monitor key deadlines
  • Liaise confidently with courts, counsel, agents and other third parties
  • Provide audio and copy typing support (attendance notes, correspondence and legal documents)
  • Assist with document bundling alongside paralegals and reprographics
  • Order Land Registry documents as required
  • Support billing and payments, including processing third-party and vendor invoices
  • Manage telephone communications, take accurate messages and redirect calls appropriately
  • Use DocuSign for document execution
  • Maintain accurate electronic filing systems and ensure documents are stored correctly
  • Provide professional, flexible support across teams as required in a float capacity
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Executive Assistant within Property and/or Litigation
  • Strong understanding of court procedures and legal documentation
  • Experience using electronic filing systems, including CE-File
  • Excellent typing skills (minimum 50 wpm) with a high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Clear, confident communication skills
  • A high level of discretion, professionalism and attention to detail
  • A proactive, flexible and reliable approach, with the ability to adapt to different teams and workloads
