Job summary

A professional organization for surgeons is seeking an Executive Officer to assist in the organization of professional examinations and coordinate with medical institutions. Candidates must possess a university degree and 1-2 years of administrative experience. Proficiency in English and Chinese is essential, along with strong skills in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat. This is a project-based position that may require irregular hours.

The College of Surgeons of Hong Kong is a professional organization which conducts postgraduate training, professional examinations and accreditation for surgeons in Hong Kong. We are offering the following post:

Assist in organization of professional examinations (project‑based), which may be conducted at hospitals.

Work closely with medical professionals on policy implementation and execution.

Liaise and coordinate with local and overseas medical institutions.

Assist in office administration and committee work.

Render executive support in ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • University degree holder with at least 1‑2 years of administrative experience
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • Proficient in MS Office application and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong sense of responsibility with executive attention to details
  • Occasionally work in irregular hours in peak months
  • Willing to learn, pleasant personality, and a positive work attitude
  • A good team player with sound interpersonal skills
  • Immediately available candidates or those with short notice periods are preferred
  • Fresh graduates with effective writing skills in English may also be considered

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Preference will be given to those with excellent command of English.
