Executive Assistant to CEO

Location: Colchester / Chelmsford A12 Corridor (Hybrid options available)

Salary: £45,000+ per annum

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Illuminate are working with a fast-paced, ideas-led SME that’s looking for a proactive, emotionally intelligent Executive Assistant to support their CEO and senior leadership team. This is a high-trust, high-impact role at the heart of a business that thrives on bold thinking, collaboration, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Providing high-level executive support across scheduling, meetings, and communications
  • Acting as a gatekeeper and liaison between internal teams and external partners
  • Preparing board-level documents, presentations, and meeting follow-ups
  • Coordinating travel, events, and logistics with precision
  • Supporting project tracking, deadline management, and company-wide initiatives
  • Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Assisting with light-touch HR and finance admin (onboarding, expenses, etc.)
  • Overseeing minor office management duties to keep day-to-day operations smooth
