Job description

Executive Assistant to the Managing Director, Permanent, Liverpool, c.£50,000 – £60,000 plus excellent benefits.

Our client is a dynamic, globally connected organisation seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to provide strategic and operational support to the Managing Director. This newly created position represents a pivotal addition to the UK business, ensuring the Managing Director’s time, priorities, and relationships are managed with precision and impact.

Acting as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders across the UK and internationally, you will play a central role in enabling effective communication, decision-making, and delivery of strategic initiatives. You will oversee complex global diaries and travel, coordinate executive-level meetings and board materials, and prepare high-quality presentations and briefing documents. Working closely with senior leaders, you will anticipate needs, streamline workflows, and act as a trusted advisor and liaison, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and day-to-day operations.

You will be an experienced, commercially minded professional with proven success supporting senior executives in a fast-paced, international environment. Exceptional organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential, alongside the confidence to represent the Managing Director both internally and externally. Advanced PowerPoint capability is required, and fluency in French (or willingness to develop language skills) would be advantageous — with potential sponsorship for language training available.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high-performing global business at a transformative stage of growth. As a visible and valued member of the leadership team, you will gain exposure to strategic projects, contribute to senior-level decision-making, and play a pivotal role in the success of the UK and international operations.
