About the role

We’re seeking a dedicated professional to join our Centralised Exceptions Team on a part time basis (3 days a week), ensuring seamless claims processing and efficient document routing to support our Regional Service Centres.

In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining operational excellence by accurately managing documents and processing claims payments with precision, following established guidelines and within your authority limits to meet service level agreements (SLAs).

Your responsibilities will include reviewing and forwarding unmatched or unreferenced documents to the correct destination, liaising with policyholders, regions, agents, and suppliers as needed. You’ll securely handle and distribute cheques and valuable items while ensuring compliance and security protocols are met.

Effective collaboration is essential to achieving our objectives. Building strong relationships with regional teams, policyholders, agents, and suppliers will be crucial to enhancing overall performance and customer experience.

About you

You’re a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. You have strong manual data entry skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in high-volume processing. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential, as this role requires close collaboration with colleagues, policyholders, and stakeholders. You also demonstrate:

  1. A self-motivated and independent approach, with the ability to manage tasks effectively while maintaining high standards
  2. Ability to embrace continuous improvement, seeking ways to enhance processes and efficiency
  3. Proficiency in MS Office and general computer literacy are essential
  4. Experience within the insurance or financial services sector is highly desirable.
