Salary: £25,035.44 - £25,747.35 Full Time Equivalent per annum

Hours of work: 37 Hours per week, 52 Weeks per year, Full Time, Permanent

About the role

The Exams Officer will be responsible for the administration and organisation of all aspects of examinations in the college, ensuring the smooth running of exam processes and compliance with regulations. This role involves coordinating exam schedules, liaising with exam boards, and providing support to students and staff regarding examination matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the scheduling, organisation, and administration of all internal and external exams.
  • Liaise with exam boards and ensure compliance with their regulations and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of exam entries, results, and related documentation.
  • Communicate exam timetables and procedures to students and staff.
  • Oversee the secure storage and distribution of exam materials.
  • Provide support and guidance to students regarding exam procedures and regulations.
  • Coordinate the recruitment, training and deployment of invigilators.
  • Manage the process for students with special examination arrangements.
  • Address and resolve any issues or queries related to examinations.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

  • Knowledge of examination procedures and regulations (desirable).
