Job summary

Blaise High School is looking to add to its bank of Examination Invigilators. You will work as part of a team to ensure exams are carried out according to JCQ regulations and must be available during key exam periods. An annual invigilator training session is required.

Salary is paid at £13.69 per hour. The main exam season is May/June, with additional sessions in January, November, and other times throughout the year. Successful applicants will join a pool to cover exams as needed.

Qualifications

• In preparation for exams and during exam periods, invigilators must comply with JCQ regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise examinations in accordance with JCQ regulations.
• Be available during exam periods in November, January, March, May and June and on days agreed in advance.
• Attend an annual invigilator training session.

You will work as part of a team of invigilators who will ensure exams are carried out according to the JCQ regulations. The main exam season is in May/June, there is a small exam season in January. School internal exams take place in November, March and June, you will be required to supervise these exams. Other exams take place throughout the year. You will need to be available during the examination periods in November, January, March, May and June, on days agreed in advance. You will also be required to attend an annual training session.
