Job summary

Ormiston Venture Academy in the United Kingdom is recruiting exam invigilators to support the Exams Team during busy exam periods. You will help set up exam venues, check examination packs and actively invigilate to ensure a fair and calm environment for each student to perform their best.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided. We’re looking for reliable, punctual staff who can work flexibly; main hours fall during September, October, November, January, March, May and June

We are looking for reliable, flexible and trustworthy Exam Invigilators to support our Exams Team during the busy exam periods. As an Exam Invigilator, your presence will maintain the integrity of examinations in an environment that enables a student to perform at their best. You will assist with setting up of exam venues, checking examination packs, assisting candidates and actively invigilating during examinations.

The post would suit someone local who is looking for casual hours during the exam periods throughout the academic year, you should be reliable, punctual and able to work flexibly.

Previous experience working with secondary school children would be a distinct advantage as any previous supervision experience, although this is not essential.

No experience is needed as training will be given, but a willingness to support our young people during times of exam stress by being a confident and reassuring presence is a must.

Working days and hours will vary according to your availability, examination dates and number of invigilators needed for each exam. The main hours will take place during September, October, November, January, March, May and June.
