Job summary

Sturminster Newton High School is seeking reliable, organised Exam Invigilators to join our team. You will help create a calm environment for students and ensure exam regulations are followed. An induction will be provided before you commence in role.

We particularly welcome caring adults to assist SEND students with examination access arrangements such as readers or scribes. No prior experience is required; training will be given. Closing date is 11 Nov 2026.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of examinations. You will help create a calm environment for students, ensuring exam regulations are followed. A comprehensive induction will be provided before commencing in role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms prior to student arrival
• Distribute and collect exam materials as required.
• Ensure the integrity of the examination process is maintained.
• Supervise students throughout the duration of the exam.

We are particularly keen to hear from caring, supportive adults to assist our SEND students with their examination access arrangements, such as the use of a reader or scribe. Whilst no experience is needed as training will be given, experience of working with young people would be an advantage.

£13.48 Hourly

Grade 3, Scale Point 4: £13.48 per hour
