TeacherActive is proud to be working with Whitchurch High School, a secondary school based in Cardiff, who are looking to appoint an Exam Invigilator. The school provides education to secondary-aged students, with examinations playing an important role in supporting learners through their academic qualifications.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Exam Invigilator on a short-term, part-time basis with flexible working hours throughout the examination season. The successful Exam Invigilator will be responsible for preparing examination rooms, supervising students during examinations, distributing and collecting examination papers, ensuring JCQ regulations are followed and maintaining a quiet, secure and supportive examination environment.

The successful Exam Invigilator will have:

• A good standard of education, with GCSE English and Maths desirable
• Previous experience working as an Exam Invigilator or within an educational setting desirable, but not essential
• An understanding of examination procedures and the importance of maintaining examination security
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
• A reliable, professional and flexible approach to working during examination periods
