Job summary

King Alfred’s Academy in Wantage is seeking exam invigilators to assist in running internal and external exams. You will work under the direction of the Examinations Manager and ensure JCQ regulations are followed across the November–July exam seasons.

The role is term-time only with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per academic year, including essential training. There is flexibility to work mornings or afternoons (08:00–08:30 or 12:30–13:00 starts).

Qualifications

• Must be able to work across term times with regular attendance during exam seasons.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to relate to young people.
• Able to follow instructions and uphold JCQ examination regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running internal and external examinations under supervision.
• Ensure strict JCQ regulations and safeguarding policies are followed.
• Support the Examinations Manager in daily invigilation tasks.
