Job summary

King-Edward in Bath is seeking an Examinations Invigilator on a casual, zero-hours basis. Shifts run mornings (8am–12:30pm) and afternoons (1pm–6pm latest) during mock and main exam seasons (Jan/Feb and May/June).

You will cover a minimum of 10 sessions across mock and main exams and support accessibility arrangements for candidates. Responsibilities include preparing rooms, supervising examinations, taking attendance and seating plans, collecting scripts, and upholding safeguarding and

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms and materials in advance of exam sessions.
• Ensure examinations are conducted in accordance with exam board regulations.
• Supervise candidates throughout examinations, maintaining a calm and orderly environment.
• Complete attendance records, seating plans and other examination documentation accurately.
• Support candidates with access arrangements, including extra time and laptop use.
• Collect completed examination scripts at the end of each session.
• Uphold confidentiality, safeguarding responsibilities and the integrity of the examination process.
