Job summary

Matravers School in Wiltshire, Westbury, is seeking exam invigilators to join the exams team. This casual role offers a calm working atmosphere and opportunities for professional development as part of a supportive staff community.

Hours of work are during school examination periods throughout the year, with responsibilities including assisting with papers, monitoring exam regulations, and helping ensure a smooth exam experience for students.

Responsibilities

To complete online training.
Help set out candidate cards.
Give out question papers and stationery.
Ensure an orderly entry to the exam.
To patrol the room and ensure exam regulations are carried out e.g., no communication between students, provide equipment as necessary.
To inform the Senior Invigilator if there is a problem that cannot be easily rectified.
To collect papers and spare stationery.
To ensure students have completed the front of their booklets.
To check tables are free of graffiti and are tidy.
To help with any other clearing of the room.
Help release students in an orderly manner.
To collate papers at the end so that they are in the same order as the register.
