Job summary

Flegg High Ormiston Academy is seeking exam invigilators to join our examination team. The roles are casual with hours aligned to examination dates; training will be provided and we are looking for locally based applicants.

You will help set up venues, check packs, assist candidates and actively invigilate during exams, ensuring fair process and proper conditions, with a supportive approach to students under exam stress.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Willingness to support students during exam stress.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring students to ensure no malpractice during the exam.
• Distributing stationery and exam papers to the students.
• Ensuring that exam conditions are adhered to at all times.
• Preparing the exam hall and rooms to meet requirements.

Job description

As we approach our examination period we have 3x vacancies for invigilators to join our examination team. The post would suit someone local who is looking for casual hours during the exam periods - no experience is needed as training will be given but a willingness to support our young people during times of exam stress is a must.

The post is based on a casual contract, hours will vary and be determined by examination dates scheduled.

About you:

An exam invigilator is responsible for ensuring that exams are conducted in an appropriate manner within the correct time frame. Your presence will maintain the integrity of examinations in an environment that enables a student to perform at their best. You will assist with setting up of exam venues, checking examination packs, assisting candidates and actively invigilating during examinations.
