Exam Invigilator – Alternative Provision
Locations: Blackburn & Burnley
Start Date: March (training provided)
Contract: Ad-hoc / Casual

We are currently seeking reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support examinations within alternative provision settings across East Lancashire, primarily in Blackburn and Burnley.

This role is ideal for individuals who are calm under pressure, attentive to detail, and confident working with young people in non-mainstream education environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising examinations in line with awarding body regulations
  • Ensuring a calm, fair, and secure exam environment
  • Supporting students while maintaining exam integrity
  • Reporting any irregularities or concerns appropriately

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as an exam invigilator is desirable but not essential
  • Training will be provided starting in March
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach
  • Reliability and flexibility to work on an ad-hoc basis
  • Ability to work sensitively within alternative provision settings
