Job summary

THORNDEN SCHOOL is seeking an Exam Invigilator to ensure fair and secure examination conditions. You will set up venues, supervise candidates, and enforce exam rules to support students in performing at their best.

Role requires reliability and flexibility to cover peak exam periods and varying schedules. Training will be provided to ensure accurate guidance on allowed materials and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Setting up examination venues in accordance with established procedures.
• Supervising candidates before, during, and after examinations, ensuring compliance with exam regulations.
• Assisting candidates with seating and providing guidance on allowed materials.
• Vigilantly monitoring the exam room to prevent cheating and handle any irregularities.
• Collecting and collating exam scripts, ensuring they are handled securely and according to protocol.
• Supporting candidates with special requirements, such as providing assistance as a scribe or reader.
