Exams Access Arrangements Co‑ordinator

Salary: £10,064 per annum
Hours: 20.8 hours per week, 30 weeks per year
Contract: Term Time Only, fixed term
Location: Peterborough

Are you passionate about creating equal opportunities for every learner to succeed? At Peterborough College, we believe every student deserves the chance to perform at their best – and we're looking for an Exams Access Arrangements Co‑ordinator to help make that happen.

In this vital role, you'll ensure students receive the right exam access arrangements (EAA) by identifying, planning and implementing support in line with JCQ regulations. You'll work collaboratively with curriculum teams, the exams office and external agencies to remove barriers and promote fairness for learners with additional needs.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and implementing exam access arrangements across the college
  • Liaising with teaching, support and exams staff to ensure compliance with JCQ requirements
  • Maintaining accurate student evidence files and EAA records
  • Liaising with feeder schools to collect Form 8s and maintain key transition information
  • Supporting students with EHCPs and ensuring appropriate exam provision
  • Staying up to date with JCQ regulations and cascading updates to staff
  • Working closely with the Wellbeing Team to support learners with mental health needs during exams
Qualifications

  • A strong understanding of exam access arrangements and JCQ regulations
  • Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a supportive team
  • A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and equality of opportunity
  • Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (or equivalent)

A background in SEND or learning support is beneficial, but we're equally keen to hear from candidates with the right coordination experience and a genuine passion for supporting learners.
