Job description

As our Events Supervisor, you will:

  • Oversee the planning, organization, and execution of all events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet the objectives set by clients or management.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Lead the event setup and takedown processes, ensuring the venue is prepared before the event starts and returned to its original state afterward.
  • Handle customer service inquiries and resolve any issues that arise before, during, or after the event to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback from participants and analysing data to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement in future events.
  • Opening and closing procedures, including security and cleaning.
  • Liaise, as applicable, with outside contractors as well as with internal suppliers.
  • Leading and coordinating event staff in an efficient way. Clear communication, efficient task delegation, and prompt issue resolution.
  • Managing cash handling and cash reconciliation.
  • Work with Marketing, Sales and Accounts team members.
  • Contribute to training and development of the team.
  • Responsible for all the equipment’s provided to you and the team.
  • Assist the line Manager in quality control of all supplies, including food, drinks/beverages, hygiene and health and safety.
  • Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures.
  • Key holder for the building and lock/unlock the building as required.
  • Might be asked to carry out other duties to the best of your abilities and to follow other reasonable tasks given to you and comply with the organisation’s rules, procedures and policies.
